Seminar on Visitor Experience, routing and interactive storytelling
During the OpenArch conference in Archeon, a seminar on visitor experience and interactive storytelling was held, during which the participants were challenged to create their own story, think about visitor routing, find new stories to tell and generally discuss how the visitor experience can be improved and broadened.
With the help of professionals from a number of fields - including but not limited to- the participants spent time in Archeon to put their aquired skills to the test. Afterwards, the results were discussed and collated, resulting in new insights and exciting new plans that the partners took back to their own site.
In 2014, the workshops on interactive storytelling were expanded and used for staff training in Archeon, prior to and during the start of a new season of school trips and day programmes. The experiences from the international seminar were invaluable in developing this training programme.
