Midsummer Management Team Meeting in Barcelona
On the 22nd June 2012, the MT met in Barcelona. Our advisor, Geir Sør-Reime was the only one unable to join. We have spent much time lately getting all the sources of information in OpenArch in tune with each other: the content, the finances, the administration. This meeting was to solve the last issues having emerged from this and taking steps to ensure OpenArch will provide with its first interim report to the Executive Agency as it should.
We have collected reports about the first 18 months of the project from almost all partners, as well as a detailed insight in their activities, products and expenses. In June, we prepared for the 4th of July, when several OpenArch partners will discuss finances and administration with the MT. This will then be followed up by an evaluation meeting by the Management Team.
The project is evolving, some new ideas materialised and also the new partners needed to find their place in OpenArch. It is our task to see how the partners in the project who often work locally enhance their activities so they gain European value. That is a key strength, just like colleagues from all over Europe being able to meet and learn from each other.
