Management Team meets in Stavanger, NO
The Rogaland County Council building in the city of Stavanger, in the south west of Norway, was the place where the OpenArch Management Team has had the first meeting in person of 2013 with the next project conference (Archeon, NL 22-26 April) on the horizon.
Our main goal was to prepare the agenda, to set the most relevant lines of discussion for the Steering Committee meeting and arrange the bilateral meetings with the partners during the 3-day conference in The Netherlands in order to keep improving the communication, checking partners workplan status and helping to solve possible doubts. Also, we took the chance to discuss some other matters concerning the project coordination especially after the recent changes.
Besides the meeting, MT member Geir Sør-Reime organised site visits to some Archaelogical Open Air Museums of Rogaland County such as the Jernaldergarden Farm in Ullandhaug, the Landa prehistoric village in Forsand and the Viking Farm in Avaldsnes which let the Catalan delegation know more about the work they are carrying out.
