Lectures on archaeological, historical and social subjects

Since 2011, Archeon has worked closely with the Roman Museum Foundation, the Volunteer group VVvA and the Archaeological Work group for the Netherlands, in order to organise a series of lectures on site. This was done in the interest of strengthening ties to the local institutions, connecting with target groups in the area, educating staff on the story of the site, as well as providing a platform for scientific research to be presented. The lectures proved popular and succesful and have included a number of prominent experts on a variety of subjects. A full list is included in this report, some examples are further elaborated on below.
