In the occasion of the Family National Day (in Italy) the Park of Montale proposed a special week end: on Saturday the 3rd of October the Staff of experts of the Park gave the possibility to the general public to participate (under reservation) to the training workshop “Metallurgist by nature or by nurture?”, usually organised only for specialists, and on Sunday the 4th of October activities for children and their families “The wonders of Cupper” and demonstrations of bronze casting.

At its third edition, the workshop “Metallurgist by nature or by nurture?” decided to open the door to a wider category of participants: general public (adults), not only scholars, archaeology students or professionals of museums. The training day was organized in two turns of four hours, in the morning or in the afternoon, for a total of 16 participants, who had the possibility to experiment the casting of Thin and Cupper and produce an object in bronze.

After the training we received a very positive feedback, in particular by GIOVANNA FREGNI one of the participant who sent us the link to her blog where the entire experience has been described and commented:
