Dr Joan Santacana Mestre

Joan Santacana i Mestre (Calafell, 1948) is an archaeologist. He is a disciple of J. Maluquer de Motes and Miquel Tarradell. Doctor in Pedagogics, is a professor in Social Sciences Teaching in the same university. He is a co-founder member of the "13-16 group" for renewing teaching and learning History and Geography. He is the co-director of the Taller de Projectes (Museology and Heritage) of the Universitat de Barcelona. He is the author of the Calafell's Iberian Citadel museum reconversion. He is also an expert in management and developing different kinds of projects for museums.
