Seminar on the Dialogue with the Visitor

As part of the work in WP3, Archeon organized a seminar on the Dialogue with the Visitor. This seminar coincided with two events for the public:

Exeter Dialogue With Science Roadshow: Archeon

A trip to Archeon Experimental Park in the Netherlands was arranged for 5 Master’s and 4 PhD students and Drs. Gill Juleff and Linda Hurcombe from the University of Exeter, UK.

Exeter Dialogue With Science Usewear analysis: Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution (IPHES) in Tarragona (Spain)

During October 2015 a small team from Exeter University visited the Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution (IPHES) in Tarragona (Spain). The visit was organized by the group from Exeter University as the second visit to further collaboration with the Institute.

Rebuilding a Mesolithic hut

As part of the activities within WP3 and WP5, Archeon staff decided that one of the Mesolithic huts was in need of replacement.

Closing Meeting in Calafell

The last joint activity with the OpenArch partners happened in Calafell (6-9 October) during the closing meeting of the project.

Exeter Dialogue With Science Roadshow: La Ciutadella Ibérica de Calafell

In October 2015 a group of post graduate students from the University of Exeter visited La Ciutadella Ibérica de Calafell. This was the 8th stop for the Dialogue with Science Roadshow.

Seminar on communication for AOAMs

The seminar started with a short summary from where we started at the beginning till the point we have reached in 2015. It was a five years experience. Some of us knew each other, others not. So we had to meet each other.

Seminar on museum management, Calafell, October 2015

ICOM Milan - preparation meeting

In preparation for the ICOM triannual meeting in Milan, 2016, representatives of EXARC met with colleagues from ICOM the Netherlands. The general theme of the meeting in Milan (where over 1,500 museum professionals are expected from all over the world) is: "museums and cultural landscapes".
