European Heritage Days 2014 at Terramara Park of Montale

In 2014 the 27th and 28th of September coincided with the weekend dedicated to the European Heritage Days.

Monday 2nd June 2014 (Republic Day in Italy) the Terramara Park of Montale organised a special demonstration for public: „Art and Technology of bronze“

10th Birthday of the Parco Montale (Italy)

In 2004 the Archaeological Museum of Modena inaugurated his open air section Terramara Park of Montale (11 km from Modena city centre), dedicated to the discovery of an important bronze age village. In 2014 the Parco of Montale celebrates its 10th birthday with a special agenda of events opened to the visitors, reaching an unexpected success of public: 2000 people in three days!

Crafting the Story of the Site

As part of the Dialogue with the Visitor, Archeon is working on creating tools that all partners can use to achieve two things:
A) Craft the Story of their Site;
B) Improve the Visitor Experience.

The Archaeological Park and Open Air Museum of Terramare is realised in the centre of Montale, a town of 3.800 inhabitants, 11 km from the city of Modena, under the Municipality of Castelnuovo Rangone.
